Cílem mé diplomové práce upozornit na tuto bioetickou oblast, která se speciální pedagogiky dotýká, na různé názorové postoje a možnosti, kde je možné působení speciálních pedagogů. Vycházím z historického pohledu, z postojů, které se formulovaly v naší historii a z toho, jak společnost přistupovala a přistupuje k postiženým jedincům. Práce speciálních pedagogů by v této oblasti měla být zaměřena nejen na samotné jedince s postižením a na rodiče, kteří se rozhodli si takto postižené dítě ponechat, ale i na ty, kteří se právě rozhodují a též na ty, kteří se rozhodnou, že postižené dítě nechtějí. Těžištěm práce speciálních pedagogů v této oblasti je seznamovat širokou veřejnost s touto problematikou a s možnostmi péče o takto postižené s tím, že budeme respektovat názory a přání těch, kterých se to přímo dotýká.

Special education comes to the new period with currently knowledges of not only human genome. That is why I target the bioethic sphere, different opinions and possibilities of special pedagogue‘s treating. in my diploma work, because bioethic spere touch the special education. I come out from historical point of view, from attitudes formulated in our history and from society attitudes to disabled individuals. The work of special pedagogues in this area should focus at disabled people and their parents who decided to take care of the child and at people who are just deciding to take care of the child. The focal point of special pedagogues in this area is to acquaint the uninitiated people with these questions and the possibilities of care of mental disabled people. With everything I have said connect important aspect of respecting the opinions and wishes of concerned people.
